RULLING Party CCM cadre, Mason Kimbo, has expressed confidence that the party’s campaign for the 2025 general election is gaining momentum, with strong support witnessed across Mwanza, Mara and Simiyu regions.
Speaking on the campaign trail, Kimbo said the journey began in Mwanza, where citizens turned out to welcome and listen to Dr Emmanuel Nchimbi, CCM’s vice-presidential candidate.
From there, the campaign moved to Mara, attracting large crowds, before heading to Simiyu, where Dr Nchimbi was warmly received in Itilima and Meatu districts.
Kimbo highlighted that citizens openly recognised the impact of President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s leadership through major infrastructure projects. “The people have acknowledged that President Samia’s work is visible in strategic infrastructure developments which have not only eased daily life but also accelerated national growth,” he said.
He explained that CCM’s priorities for 2025–2030 aim to build a new face of Tanzania, focusing on critical sectors such as health, industry and employment.
The party plans to create over 12,000 jobs for young people soon after the election, emphasising the importance of voter participation.
“We believe that under Dr Samia’s leadership over the next five years, Tanzania will continue to shine at both regional and international levels. I call upon all Tanzanians to turn out on 29 October and vote for CCM,” Kimbo urged.
Today, 3 September 2025, CCM presidential candidate Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan continues her campaign in Songwe Region, while her running mate, Dr Emmanuel Nchimbi, concludes his tour in Bariadi District, Simiyu, before heading to Shinyanga.
