From cash rewards to the grand prize of a brand-new Suzuki Fronx and a Zanzibar getaway, we’re excited to celebrate those embracing cashless payments with us.”
Adding excitement to the launch, renowned Tanzanian rally driver Dharam Pandya shared his perspective on the Suzuki Fronx: “The Suzuki Fronx is not just a car; it represents excellence and adventure. It’s the perfect reward for anyone embracing the convenience of cashless transactions. I’m thrilled to be part of this campaign and witness how Stanbic is shaping the future of payments in Tanzania.”
Despite cash being deeply rooted in Tanzania’s economy, Stanbic Bank aims to lead the shift toward cashless transactions by promoting Visa card adoption. The campaign focuses on:
· Reducing the risks of carrying cash.
· Highlighting the time and cost savings of cashless transactions.
· Providing advanced security through PIN and Chip technology.
Existing Visa Debit Cardholders have already attested to the convenience and security offered by the card, with many citing reduced transaction costs and access to global financial systems as major benefits.
With a target of a 25% increase in card transactions during the campaign, Stanbic Bank underscores its commitment to driving financial inclusion and innovation in Tanzania. This campaign aligns with Stanbic’s broader mission to empower communities and promote economic development, as evidenced by its impactful CSR initiatives in 2024, which reached over 100,000 people.
