On the evening of March 27th 2025, Diamond Trust Bank Tanzania PLC (DTBT) held a memorable Iftar event at the Tanga Beach Resort in Tanga Region where over 200 valued customers gathered for a special Iftar hosted by the bank.

This carefully planned event provided a unique opportunity for customers to connect, share experiences and foster deeper relationships with both each other and the bank’s leadership team.

The Iftar was honoured by the presence of the Secretary of the Union of  Sheikhs in Tanga - Sheikh Juma Bakari Ilungulu, and graced by the chief guest, Ambassador Dr. Batilda Buriani, Tanga  Regional Commissioner.

This event, marking the breaking of the fast during the holy month of Ramadan, was not merely a meal but a symbolic representation of Diamond Trust Bank’s unwavering commitment to its customers and the broader community.

During the event, customers had the chance to interact with one another and with different bank officials in a relaxed, friendly setting. This allowed for the exchange of ideas, feedback, and insights, all of which are invaluable to the bank as it continues to evolve to meet the needs of its clients.

For DTB this Iftar was a testament to the power of face-to-face engagement and the importance of listening to and supporting the customers who continue to drive the bank’s success.

With the support of these valued customers, Diamond Trust Bank looks forward to continuing its journey of growth, innovation, and community engagement, both in Tanga and beyond.
