Dr Nchimbi leads CCM delegation on diplomatic working visit to Ethiopia
THE Rulling Party CCM Secretary General Dr Emanuel Nchimbi is leading a delegation on a working visit to Ethiopia from 29 to 31 January 2025, following an invitation from the country’s ruling party, Prosperity.
During the meeting Dr Nchimbi will attend the 2nd Congress of the Prosperity Party, but also enhance and solidify the longstanding ties between Ethiopia and Tanzania, as well as the governments of both nations through their respective ruling parties.
The visit will also focus on strengthening the economic diplomacy partnership between Ethiopia and Tanzania, which has been built on a foundation of political solidarity during the African liberation struggles.
During the visit, Dr Nchimbi will engage with senior leaders of the Prosperity Party to explore deeper cooperation in areas such as investment, trade, agriculture, and technology, all for the mutual benefit of both nations.
Ambassador Nchimbi is expected to return to Tanzania on 1 February 2025.
