The First World Public Assembly will bring together leaders from over 150 countries to build a new world.

The World Peoples Assembly (WPA) will host the First World Public Assembly in Moscow, coinciding with the International Day of Peace. The large-scale humanitarian forum will focus on shaping a sustainable, just, and harmonious future amid global change.

More than 4,000 participants from over 150 countries are expected, including leaders of public diplomacy, civil society representatives, government officials, scientists, cosmonauts, spiritual leaders, and city mayors. The Assembly will also welcome descendants of historical figures, heads of international organizations, and prominent cultural figures.

The central theme of the forum is “New World of Conscious Unity.” WPA Secretary General Andrey Belyaninov emphasized:
“We believe the New World begins where unity is affirmed, where values are above differences, and cooperation is stronger than rivalry. The New World is being created here and now—together with you.”

WPA Co-Chair and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Aleksandra Ochirova added that unity cannot be achieved through decrees, but through humanitarian modernization and concrete proposals from participants worldwide.

The business program features seven panel sessions and more than 40 thematic platforms, covering public diplomacy, humanitarian modernization, values of the new world, and spiritual unity. Key events include:

  • International Media Forum “Media in the Service of Humanity”
  • Youth Forum “Generation of Unity”
  • Forum “Victorious Nations: Lessons of WWII and Responsibility for Peace”
  • Business Forum on corporate social responsibility
  • Congress of the World Organization of Writers (WOW)
  • Eurasian Forum of National Cultures and Equestrian Traditions

A special meeting of university presidents will bring together academics and experts from over 40 countries. Another highlight will be the presentation of the Public Recognition Award “For Service to Humanity.”

Among the distinguished guests are Piao Yangfan of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Ilkhom Nematov of the CIS, Sergey Glazyev of the Union State of Russia and Belarus, Konstantin Kosachev of the Russian Federation Council, Rohey Malick Lowe, Mayor of Banjul and Deputy Chair of the Global Parliament of Mayors, as well as leaders from Africa, India, Jordan, and other nations.

Over 200 journalists from Eurasia, Africa, and Latin America will cover the Assembly. The event is organized by the International Union of NGOs “World Peoples Assembly,” with TASS as the general information partner broadcasting key events live. Streams will also be available via worldpublicsummit.org
