The June 28 event will especially on university students, being invited to explore job opportunities offered by Chinese companies, he said, highlighting that in 2016, with strong support from the Chinese Embassy, the China Enterprise Chamber of Commerce teamed up with the UDSM Confucius Institute to launch the inaugural China-Tanzania talent exchange and job fair.

This ground-breaking event was Tanzania’s first major corporate recruitment fair, drawing participation from over 100 Chinese companies and offering more than 2,000 job openings.

The second edition of the fair in 2017 further expanded its reach and prestige, with then Vice President Samia Suluhu Hassan officiating at that event. Nearly 100 Chinese companies participated once again, energizing a large crowd of eager students exploring career opportunities, he added.
