Parents urged to embrace proper upbringing of their children

Parents and Guardians has been urged to increase the scope of proper parenting to their children in order to enable them to have an ethical upbringing, while they are in school.

The call was issued recently in Dar es Salaam by Nastra Hashim Head of Kidz Kollege School during the celebration for 10 years Anniversary of Kidz Kollege Primary School held basically to bring together parents and children in acquiring parental care as they are going on with their studies.

She said that, the school has consider the need for children while in school to also get time with their parents in order to have parental care, love and social growth far from school based care.

"We have decided to host one-of-a-kind event called Dopamine Land: A Sensory Celebration a full day immersive experience designed to spark joy, connection and creativity for people of all ages, we have everything from pillow fights and infinity bliss to petting zoos, acrobats, dance - offs, and even a swimathon, it is vibrant, playful, and meaningful all at once," she said.

"Our school philosophy is built around values that truly matter things like honesty, kindness, respect, responsibility, integrity, and friendship. These values are woven into everything we do and today's celebration reflected that through unity, shared laughter and pure joy," she said.

She added that what made today extra special it is not only about performance or activities, but just about people. We brought together our children, parents alumni, educators, support staff and community leaders to join hands in providing proper parenting to our children in the school.

Nasra said that good parenting at this stage of child growth is so important to help her or him to have discipline, self reliance and to have a healthy growth," she elaborated.

"This is the reality of how powerful a school can be when it is built on love, led with vision and nurtured like a family, and as we look ahead to the next 10 years, we are more inspired than ever to continue building the proper foundations for our children with moral care," she insisted.

For her part Cassandra Brendan said that the school has been providing the best foundations for child care and social growth for the purpose of nurturing them with discipline and intelligence.

She added that children needs to be given enough space to his or her parents and not leaving that responsibility to school teachers and matrons. Children are supposed to be upbroughout in an appropriate manner in order to become productive in their life.
