SIMBA Sports Club’s honorary president and principal investor, Mohammed ‘Mo’ Dewji, has expressed strong optimism for the upcoming 2025/2026 season, declaring that the Msimbazi Street giants will be unstoppable both domestically and on the continental stage.

His powerful message came shortly after a high-level strategy meeting held with Simba SC’s head coach, Fadlu Davids. The two reportedly met to review the past season and map out a new direction for the club going forward.

Taking to his official Instagram account, Mo Dewji (pictured)shared a photo of himself alongside Davids, captioned with the words: “Pause. Reflect. Reset.” - a brief but weighty statement that signals the club’s renewed ambition for success.

Dewji emphasized that the just-ended season was a period of growth and rebuilding, during which the team, despite several challenges, managed to achieve historic success by reaching the final of the CAF Confederation Cup - the second time in the club’s history to do so.

“Under Coach Fadlu Davids, Simba reached the final of the CAF Confederation Cup - our second continental final ever,” Mo wrote, praising the coach’s efforts and underscoring the progress made by the technical bench during the 2024/2025 campaign.

Acknowledging the stiff competition faced during the season, Mo noted that the squad remained resilient and competitive throughout. He believes that the experience gained will serve as a strong foundation for bigger achievements in the season ahead.

“This past season was about building a team. And yet we reached a final, despite the fierce opposition. Next season, Simba will be unstoppable,” he declared.

The bold proclamation reflects the club’s ambitious goals for the new campaign - to not only reclaim domestic dominance in the Mainland Premier League but also make an even deeper impact on the continental scene.

Mo’s remarks come at a crucial time when fans and stakeholders are eagerly awaiting strategic moves from the club, especially in the areas of player recruitment and pre-season preparations. His assurance of continued support and belief in the current technical leadership offers a sense of direction and confidence within the Simba fraternity.

The meeting between Dewji and Davids also signals the club’s commitment to maintaining coaching stability, with the coach expected to remain at the helm heading into the 2025/2026 season.

The South African tactician, who joined Simba with a mission to elevate the club’s performance, has now earned the trust of top leadership following a solid debut campaign.

Having guided the team to the CAF Confederation Cup final and maintained a strong league presence amidst transitions, Davids’ continuation aligns with Mo Dewji’s vision of sustained progress and continuity.

Meanwhile, the club’s faithful  eagerly watching developments as the new season approaches. There is growing anticipation around Simba’s transfer activity, pre-season plans, and potential squad reinforcements aimed at strengthening the team for another grueling football calendar.

With Dewji’s renewed commitment and public confidence, the club has sent a clear message to its rivals that it intends to return stronger, smarter, and more competitive than ever before.

“We are not just preparing for another season; we are preparing to dominate,” one source close to the club stated, echoing the sentiments expressed by Mo Dewji.
