Body of former PM Cleopa Msuya lands in Kilimanjaro, burial set in Mwanga

The body of the late former Prime Minister and First Vice President, Cleopa David Msuya, arrived this morning at 8:22 a.m. at Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA).

According to Kilimanjaro Regional Commissioner Nurdin Babu, the late Msuya’s body will be escorted in a solemn procession along the Arusha–Moshi road, heading to the CD Msuya grounds located in Mwanga District, Kilimanjaro Region.
Babu stated that preparations have been finalized to allow members of the public to participate and pay their last respects to the historic national leader. The grounds are estimated to accommodate over 15,000 people at once.
President Samia Suluhu Hassan, is expected to lead the funeral ceremony for the late Cleopa Msuya.
