CCM Presidential running mate Dr Emmanuel Nchimbi has pledged that a key focus of the ruling party’s next five-year term—should it be re-elected—will be the creation of thousands of new jobs, particularly in education and health.
Speaking today in Magu District, en route to Mara Region, Dr Nchimbi said the government plans to recruit 7,000 mathematics and science teachers, along with 5,000 health sector professionals.
He said these efforts are part of broader initiatives that will be prioritised within the first 100 days of a new CCM administration, should presidential candidate Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan be granted a fresh mandate by voters.
“Numerous initiatives have already been successfully implemented by the government under CCM’s manifesto, with the majority having reached completion,” Dr Nchimbi said, highlighting the party’s track record.
He also announced that a national health insurance scheme would be expanded to cover pregnant women, children, persons with disabilities, and the elderly.
Dr Nchimbi urged Kisesa residents to continue supporting CCM, expressing confidence in the party’s vision and capacity to drive national development. He called on voters to give the party a renewed chance to lead, assuring them that the CCM government remains committed to improving livelihoods across the country.
