CHADEMA National Chairman Tundu Lissu, has declined to continue his trial over allegations of spreading false information online via video conference from Ukonga Prison.
Lissu's refusal came after prison officials informed him that he was required to join the prison’s video room for the ongoing hearing.
Lissu, who was scheduled to appear before Senior Resident Magistrate Geofrey Mhini of the Kisutu Resident Magistrate’s Court in Dar es Salaam, rejected the online session, stating he could not participate via visual means.
