President Samia announces key appointments in mining, standards, agriculture boards
PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan, has appointed Ramadhani Lwamo as the executive secretary of the mining commission.
Prior to this appointment, Lwamo had been acting in the same role.
President Samia has also reappointed Dr. Aggrey Mlimuka, as the Chairperson of the Fair Competition Commission (FCC) Board for a second term and Prof. Othman Chande Othman as the Chairperson of the Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) Board for a second term.
Other appointees include Dr. Florens Martin Turuka, who has been reappointed as the Chairperson of the Tanzania Fertilizer Company (TFC) Board for a second term, and Prof. Valerian Cosmas Silayo, reappointed as the Chairperson of the Centre for Agricultural Mechanization and Rural Technology (CAMARTEC) Board for a second term.
