CHAMWINO District in Dodoma Region is poised for a major transformation, with 10 new health centres and five dispensaries set for construction under the implementation Oof the CCM election manifesto for 2025–2030.
Announcing the plans, CCM presidential candidate Samia Suluhu Hassan, told thousands of residents at a public rally in Chamwino on Sunday August 30, that the new facilities will bring healthcare closer to communities and ease the burden on existing centres.
The President further pledged improvements in road infrastructure, including the construction of 10 kilometres of tarmac roads within Chamwino Town. “We will ensure that all roads are passable throughout the year to simplify daily activities for residents and stimulate local economic growth,” she declared.
Samia said that alongside strengthening road networks, her government will also implement large-scale agricultural projects in Chamwino through the Better Tomorrow programme, targeting youth employment and productivity.
She noted that new water projects will be rolled out to expand access to clean and safe water for every household in the district.
Addressing the crowd, the Head of State emphasised unity during the campaign period, urging Chamwino residents to mobilise in support of CCM. “Let us work together and ensure every Tanzanian chooses CCM in the General Election on 29 October 2025,” she said.
The Chamwino gathering is part of Samia’campaign in Dodoma Region, where she had held rallies attended by a number of residents .Her campaign has centred on showcasing achievements over the past five years, while outlining fresh commitments to expand essential services, create opportunities for young people, and improve infrastructure across the country.
