President Samia: Public confidence in judiciary Increases to 88 pc

PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has announced that public confidence in the judiciary has steadily increased, reaching 88 percent in 2024.

She made this statement in Dodoma today during the launch of the Tanzania Judiciary Headquarters, the Judicial Service Commission, and Judges' Residences.

"International evaluations show that trust in the judiciary rises every year, and by last year, it reached 88 percent," she said.

The Head of State added: " I am confident that these improvements will further boost public trust in the judiciary."

She also stressed the importance of fostering public confidence by ensuring the judiciary remains a primary and unique avenue for justice, while urging integrity among judicial officials to maintain the judiciary's dignity.
