CCM presidential running mate, Dr Emmanuel Nchimbi, has said that voting for CCM candidates at all levels — presidential, parliamentary, and councillorship — is a vote to strengthen national unity and ensure quality services reach every village and ward.
He made the remarks during a campaign rally for the General Election held at the Himo Police Grounds, where he also introduced and endorsed CCM candidates contesting in the area.
Dr Nchimbi emphasised that the candidates embody CCM’s commitment to delivering development through the implementation of its 2025–2030 Election Manifesto.
Speaking on behalf of his fellow candidates, Member of Parliament-elect for Vunjo Constituency, Enock Koola, identified the main challenges facing residents in the constituency as poor road infrastructure and inadequate access to clean water.
He stated that over the next five years, citizens expect collaboration with the Government to ensure key roads — including Chekereni–Kahe–Mabogini, Pofo–Mandaka–Kilema, and Uchira–Kisomachi — are upgraded to tarmac standard, and that delayed water supply projects are completed.
