THE community has been urged to embrace a culture of learning and adopting technological advancements to keep pace with globalization.

Catherine Kusaka, SpiddTZ  Development Manager made the call in Dar es Salaam during the launch of SpiddTZ, a technology company entering the Tanzanian market with the aim of simplifying access to digital solutions.

She said the primary goal is to promote digital work processes and support business growth through technology.

“We have come from Uganda to invest in Tanzania after observing that technology adoption here still lags behind compared to Kenya and Uganda. That’s why we decided to introduce this company to help bridge that gap,” Catherine said.

She added that SpiddTZ’s entry into the market will make technology more accessible and create job opportunities, particularly for young people.

“For now, services have begun in Dar es Salaam. If we receive positive feedback, we will expand to other regions. We noticed some companies still rely on paper, and meetings often require physical presence. Our services aim to make virtual collaboration easier, even across different regions,” she added.

SpiddTZ’s Country Manager, Angera Somwegerere, said the company is currently offering services that support businesses, including building reliable, scalable digital networks that meet the evolving needs of various sectors.

He also noted that their technology will streamline operations in banks, hospitals, factories, and large institutions that rely on digital services.
