CCM Members flood INEC to back Samia, Nchimbi’s Presidential form collection

THE ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) has began arriving at the offices of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) this morning to accompany the party’s presidential candidate, President Samia Suluhu Hassan.

President Samia will be joined by her running mate, Ambassador Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi, to collect the forms to apply for nomination to contest the presidency in the General Election scheduled for October 29, 2025.

The candidates are expected to collect the forms at 11:00 a.m., amid major celebrations outside the INEC offices, with trumpets and cheers from CCM supporters.

  1. Apart from CCM, other parties expected to collect forms today include the NRA Party and the AAFP.
