THE ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) has issued guidelines for the internal process of collecting and submitting nomination forms for members aspiring to contest leadership positions in government institutions ahead of the 2025 elections.
The nomination process officially begins on June 28, 2025, and aims to unite party members while protecting the principles of unity, love, cooperation, and solidarity.
According to a statement releases by CCM Secretary for Organisation, Issa Haji Gavu, Issa Haji ,the party has strictly prohibited any member from inviting groups or entourages to accompany them to collect nomination forms.
The party also bans organizing processions involving vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, drums, or trumpets during form collection, as such acts create signs of factionalism and division within the party.
Members are urged to follow these instructions carefully. Any violation will lead to disciplinary measures under the party’s Leadership and Ethics Regulations, including possible disqualification from nomination.
Secretaries at district and ward levels have been instructed to quickly inform all prospective candidates about these rules to ensure compliance.
CCM emphasized the importance of respecting these guidelines to maintain discipline and cohesion as the party moves forward.
