Nchimbi to launch CCM Campaign in Mwanza tomorrow

The running mate for the presidential ticket of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi, is set to launch the party’s regional campaign tomorrow, August 29, 2025 in Mwanza Region

This was confirmed by the party’s Regional Secretary, Omary Mtuwa, who told journalists that Mwanza has the honor of being the second region to host the campaigns, which will take place at Furahisha grounds in Ilemela District.

“Residents can expect a civilized campaign in Mwanza, where policies will be discussed and explanations given on how our government will deliver over the next five years,” Mtuwa said.

He also urged party aspirants who did not succeed in the primaries to unite and break down factionalism.

“According to our party’s constitution and regulations, factional groups ended on August 22, 2025, following the nomination of parliamentary and council candidates. Now, CCM is one united group, and we must work together to ensure our party wins,” he added.
