Samia to officially launch Presidential Campaign in Morogoro tomorrow
Thousands of residents across Morogoro Region are expected to attend the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) presidential campaign rallies for President Samia Suluhu Hassan, scheduled for August 29–30.
According to CCM Morogoro Regional Secretary Nuru John Ngereja, President Samia, accompanied by running mate Emmanuel John Nchimbi, will hold historic rallies starting at Ngerengere in Morogoro District on August 29 at 9 a.m.
She will later address crowds at the Tumbaku-Mkwawa grounds in Morogoro Municipality at 12 noon, where over 70,000 residents are expected.
On August 30, the campaign will move to Sokoine-Dakawa in Mvomero District and then Kilosa-Town in Kilosa District at 12 noon, followed by a rally at Vila grounds in Gairo District at 2 p.m.
CCM officials encouraged residents from all districts to attend the rallies, hear the party’s manifesto, and show support for the president’s choice of Morogoro as the first region for her campaign.
