THE Youth Wing of the ruling Chama cha Mapinduzi (UVCCM) has urged its members to exercise caution when obtaining and verifying information ahead of this year’s general election.

The call was made recently by UVCCM National Chairperson, Mohammed Ali Kawaida, during the launch of a new system for accessing information on the party manifesto, called ‘Kijani Ilani-Chatbot.’

This system uses artificial intelligence to provide accurate and timely information on the party’s policies and promises.

Kawaida, emphasized that the youth should ensure the information they access comes from reliable and credible sources, including through the new Chatbot system.

The system enables users to access information on the CCM manifesto, the National Development Vision 2050, and various development commitments.

Its main goal is to provide citizens, especially young voters, with accurate, easy-to-understand information in real time.

UVCCM Secretary-General Khalid Mwinyi added that it is essential for young people to have access to correct information ahead of the general election.

“This initiative increases transparency in politics and helps young people recognize their important role in governance and national development,” Mwinyi said.

He also noted that the technology ensures accurate information access and will make it easier to understand politics and the party manifesto.
